choose queen room with a beautiful view. the location of the hotel was best possible - at a medium distance from a skyscraper observation deck. plus, it was just off many attractions such as the willis tower, art museum, navy pier, planetarium, aquarium and the museum of contemporary art and millenium park.

But I tell you, it felt a bit like a sauna in the room-who needs a steam room when you have that? Honestly, do they think we're training for a marathon?

The spacious room provided plenty of comfort for my daughters and me. We enjoyed breakfast at the lovely onsite restaurant, where the staff was really nice. For convenience, explore nearby attractions. We loved roaming Michigan Avenue. Pro tip, arrive early to enjoy the local nightlife!

The hotel really nailed it with family options like high chairs and strollers upon request! My two teenagers enjoyed the delicious breakfast and the spacious suite that gave us plenty of room to relax. Great amenities.

My kids wished the check-in process was faster. The wait was quite long and tiring after a day of travel. An improvement in staffing would help families settle in smoothly.

Although I didn't have breakfast, the overall ambiance of the hotel was impressive, making it a place I'd like to return to.

The King Studio I stayed in was a true gem! The room was HUGE, with such comfy beds that I honestly didn't want to leave. Plus, the location was perfectly situated near amazing restaurants and attractions!

Although the breakfast options were plentiful, they could use a little more variety aside from typical fare. The location is fantastic with various great restaurants nearby.

Oh man, the dining options nearby were great! We hit up Joe's Seafood for some killer crab and strolled to Grand Lux Cafe for dessert. Can't forget about The Purple Pig's tapas that had us drooling! This place is clean, modern, and the vibe is unbeatable. Staff were super friendly-shoutout to Kennedy and Jade for the birthday shoutout!

But let me spill the tea-check-in took forever! We rocked up at 11am, and didn't get our room until dinner time. The sofa bed? Nah, it didn't lay flat, so I was tilted all night like a leaning tower! Those sheets for the sofa didn't even show up until the second try. Marriott, c'mon, step it up.

The views from the hotel lobby on the 20th floor provide a stark skyline backdrop that's hard to ignore. Conveniently located within walking distance to a bunch of great restaurants makes dining easy without the hassle of driving.

The noise from outside is pretty intrusive. The American breakfast offering lacks variety, especially for those who prefer lighter options-seriously, a few croissants wouldn't hurt.
